Pleiades Shipping adopts cloud procurement via SeaProc

Greek ship owner Pleiades Shipping is now connected to the Seaproc e-procurement hub.  Pleiades Shipping’s fleet management system, ABS Nautical Systems, has been linked with Seaproc’s trading platform to dramatically increase transaction efficiencies and improve data collaboration with suppliers.

Pleiades Shipping operates a fleet of 14 Panamax, Aframax and chemical/product tankers. The company’s fleet operates along worldwide trading routes, primarily between North and South America, the Caribbean and Far East, transporting crude oil and dirty petroleum products. The company provides chartering services, management of day to day operations, crew recruitment and training, insurance placement, supply of stores, spares and fuel, financial and accounting services, as well as dry-docking and special survey commissioning.

iMarine Software manages the cloud-based e-commerce solution, SeaProc, which connects ship owners and operators with over 50,000 maritime suppliers worldwide. The trading platform uses the latest technologies to manage supply chain transactions in a robust, scalable and secure environment hosted by Amazon Web Services.

iMarine Software is based in New York with regional offices in Hamburg, Istanbul and Manila.
